WATCH: Rihanna stars in new trailer for animated movie 'Home'
Rihanna’s already a certified pop superstar and an official fashion icon, so naturally acting is the next logical step in her plan for total entertainment industry domination. The songstress already had a small supporting role in Battleship, but her next role has her playing the lead in Dreamworks’ upcoming animated adventure, Home.
The flick, which also stars Jennifer Lopez, sees Rihanna starring as a plucky teen who helps an annoying alien hide from his enemies on earth.
Unfortunately, if you’re just gagging to see Riri back on the big screen, then you’ve still got a while to wait: Last month, Home was delayed until March 27, 2015 to make room for the next Madagascar sequel.
