Selena Gomez & Taylor Swift shoot down rift rumors with MET Gala dance video

(Yahoo!) - Don't believe the hype when it comes to bad blood between Taylor Swift and Selena Gomez.

The pals – who were rumored to have had a falling out after Gomez unfollowed Swift (and others) on Instagram – were joined at the hip at the Met Costume Institute Gala on Monday night. The "Spring Breakers" actress posted a video of herself with the country singer having a, well, ball beyond the velvet rope at the A-list event.

"Sometimes you wanna just be you with someone who knows all your secrets," Gomez, who was in rehab earlier this year and seems to have (again) broken things off with Justin Bieber, wrote along with the video. In the clip, the girls were dancing around the Metropolitan Museum of Art liked they owned it to "Volare," which includes the lyrics, "Let us leave the confusion and all this illusion behind."

Their beautiful ballgowns (Oscar de la Renta for Swift; Diane von Furstenberg for Gomez) swirled behind them, making for a glam moment. The clip ended with a cameo from model Chrissy Teigen.

Swift got in a lot of dancing on Monday. Her model pal Karlie Kloss told Yahoo that they had a "dance party" while they readied for the big event together. They took separate cars to the event though because their dresses were so voluminous.

And Swift was surrounded by her many celebrity BFFs last night. In addition to Gomez and Kloss, Hailee Steinfeld and Cara Delevingne were there.

Meanwhile, no word if Gomez ran into Kendall Jenner inside. While the women hung out at Coachella last month, the aspiring model (and Kim Kardashian's younger sis) had dinner with Bieber last week, which is rumored not to have sat well with Gomez.

But last night was about leaving the confusion behind and having fun, right? It certainly seems like they did.
