Outkast announces hometown concert

Outkast is taking the stage in their hometown of Atlanta this fall.

Atlanta-based concert promoter Rival Entertainment sparked rumors of an Atlanta Outkast concert after posting an image showing a silhouette of Andre 3000 and Big Boi this week. The date September 27th was printed on the image along with the hashtag #ATLast.

 

Following the cryptic tweet both the promoter and Outkast tweeted the rest of the details, confirming the show:

 

The concert in Atlanta will mark the first time the duo have played in their hometown since reuniting earlier this year in celebration of the 20th anniversary of their debut album, Southernplayalisticadillacmuzik. However, the duo stopped in nearby Kingston Downs for the Counterpoint Festival in April.
