Mariah Carey to kick off "Today" Show Summer Concert Series

Mariah Carey will be the first artist to take the stage for this year's edition of the NBC "Today" show's summer concert series. The diva will kick off the show's annual event on May 16th at Rockefeller Plaza, where acts spanning all genres will perform throughout the months of May, June, July, August and September. It will be Mariah's sixth time performing during the concert series. She'll be promoting her much-anticipated new album, due out later in May.

Others who've also signed up for a spot on the "Today" concert lineup include Pharrell Williams, Ed Sheeran, OneRepublic, Jennifer Hudson, Maroon 5 and Usher. Country stars like Tim McGraw and Rascal Flatts will also perform in May. Rockers like Fall Out Boy and Neon Trees will deliver performances throughout the summer
