Juan Pablo Doesn't Propose, Clare Makes Dramatic Exit On "The Bachelor"

Juan Pablo Doesn't Propose, Clare Makes Dramatic Exit On "The Bachelor"

It doesn't look like Juan Pablo Galavis will be gaining any fans after the season finale of "The Bachelor" Monday night. He chose to give the final rose to Nikki, without proposing or telling her he loves her. But it was the dramatic exit of Clare that made the live studio audience break into applause to cheer her on. Clare's harsh words stemmed from something Juan Pablo said to her during an off-camera moment on their final date. The two were inside a helicopter landing in Saint Lucia, and Clare says he made a sexual comment towards her that she found too offensive to repeat. When she confronted him, Juan Pablo eased her hesitations before heading into the rose ceremony. During her explosive exit at the rose ceremony, she was more than clear about feeling lied to and used. When Clare sat down with Chris Harrison in the live interview immediately following the finale, she said she didn't want to see Juan Pablo again and got all the closure she needed.

But even fans of the show rooting for Nikki may not be happy with Juan Pablo. During the rose ceremony, he explained to her that he didn't feel "100-percent" sure about getting down on one knee but did want to continue their relationship, which she agreed to. Nikki spoke about craving to hear an "I love you, too" from Juan Pablo, but all he gave her was an "I like you a lot" with a wink. The audience during the interview gasped aloud when he refused to say he loved her again, after four months. Even Chris expressed his shock while speaking Juan Pablo and Nikki, confronting the new couple about being unwilling to answer questions about the future of their lives together.

Andi Dorfman, the attorney from Atlanta who dumped Juan Pablo earlier this season, was announced as the new "Bachelorette." Her season premieres on May 19th.
