'Harry Potter' is getting a spin-off

Details have been released about a “Harry Potter” spin-off series called “Fantastic Beasts and Where to Find Them.” J.K. Rowling will of course pen the series and Warner Bros. will produce the movie trilogy.

The story is set 70 years before Harry’s time and will follow character Newt Scamander. US WEEKLY mag reports, “ [Newt Scamander] is not directly linked to the Potter family, but rather a part of the wizarding world in general.”
